numero quatro

Mr. Rece had a heck of a 4 month birthday...we celebrated with a cold/cough and an ear infection!!! Not so much fun. Followed by partial recovery and then vaccinations which gave us the cranks and a fever, really not fun. Now a week into month four we are finally feeling better. Here are his stats:

14 lbs 15 oz - Almost 26 inches long

*Turns over tummy to back and is starting to twist towards back to tummy, but honestly doesn't seem to concerned with doing that anytime soon
*Grabs everything....puts everything in mouth, drools everywhere (its the cool thing at school ;-)
*Is sleeping so good, its like it is his job - although now with the rolling and all the swaddler probably needs to go bye bye so we are starting to transition to a sleep sack.
*Is starting to hear/find his voice
*Loves to be on his changing table where he has your full attention, lots of giggles and crazy arm and leg moves
*Is starting to hold his head up with more and more stability - can't wait to get him in the jumperoo
*Has been having fun with daddy at home for a few days - daddy is done teaching for the summer so he is in daycare part time only. Both have survived ;-)

There is probably more, but I am so tired after a long week I can't think of what else, so here are some pictures of my big boy. I love the first one, he is so clearly trying to get his point across.
